Anyone know if there is a way to have unlimited life in Wingnuts? I can't get past level 5!

I saw somewhere that you can edit a hex value in it and you become invincible.

I got pretty good, got up to leave 15 or something with 6 aircraft.
You can't save, or tab out of this game.
ITS TERRIBLE

I could only pause,
you can't save...

There is no way for me to quite and start playing again. I was playing for a couple hours and had to start work again... Just irritating.

You CAN save. After each level, in fact.

After you kill the Baron's big plane and it says "click mouse to continue", you're taken to the bonus points screen. There's a save game button at the bottom of the screen.

However, it's a bit testy. Sometimes I've clicked to continue and it skips the bonus screen (thereby bypassing the all-important save button) and goes to the next level intro screen. Press the space bar instead of clicking.

This game is pretty much impossible at level 22 (on easy).
It takes like 3 planes to finish the level.

Has anyone finished it?

I'm on level 23 and I damn near made it through that level a couple of times. How did I do it? I got lucky!
