I think UT 2004 performs better - what's going on? Is there a setting I'm screwing up?

This is an older game and I just expected it to play smoothly on my DP machine with the Gforce Ti card, but this was not the case. Some screens will play smooth, but larger areas get really choppy.

I've tried about every graphic setting I can think of and they all seem about the same - am I just stuck behind the 867 MHz?

A lot of it has to do with the engine. It didn't port very well among other things...

hmmm - that's disappointing... guess that's why they were selling it for $10 at compUSA lol.

I've decided its just not playable on my current system - too bad, looks like a pretty fun game but the quality of the graphics and performance is behind the times in comparison to the Unreals and other newer games.
