I'm still waiting for some type of online-MAME type of play.

I submitted a patch for the gamepad digital axis problem, for the next release. The analog axes are still erratic; I'm not sure what's up with that yet.

Did somebody fix the OpenGL blitter plug-in? It only worked abysmally on NVidia cards the last time I tried (about 2 years ago...)
Is there perhaps another way to stretch the graphics to fullscreen?

Other than that: great work

Well, try it again. There have been many changes in the last two years

Actually, there are still a few bugs related to the GL plugin in 0.87b; one of those affects speed in 16bpp games which have odd screen widths (such as most vector games.) I'm working on several patches that should improve performance and reliability, for the next update.

Any idea when that update will be? And will your joystick patch make it into that version?

Probably within a week at most. The joystick fix won't be in the next release, as I'm rewriting the joystick code from the ground up to fix some longstanding issues.

Is anyone using a Macally iShock with MAME? It used to work fine, and I obviously understand that the joystick inputs will be corrected in a future version, but I did a clean install and can't remember if I used the stupid iShock two driver or something like USB Overdrive.

Yes, I do. I would recommend against installing the iShock drivers. For me at least, they tend to make things worse rather than better using just the default settings. As an example, unless you configure the iShock otherwise, it'll move your cursor around with the left thumbstick and send fake arrow key messages with the dpad buttons. That interferes with your ability to configure those controls in HID Manager compliant games.
