neverwinter nights doesnt like me.. i install... it works... i play a few times... then it just stops liking me... i uninstall, reinstall... it works again for a bit and then dies on me again... i think it might even be once i restart it stops working... because i dont reboot often... any ideas what may be going on here? very frustrating because i like the game!

Had a similar issue with Nwn (crashing, tho not quite as often as your situation), and a Repair Permissions fixed it. And as Ginoledesma said, make sure you've updated (think they just released 1.64 a couple of weeks ago).
