Hi everyone,

I am pleased to announce some exciting news about the up coming version .4 of the Heat of Battle Mod for Call of Duty!

The new version is expected to be released early next week... on Monday if all goes as planned. This new version will be adding many new features and maps, the most impressive new feature being a completely dynamic deployment system!

Heat of Battle's deployment system is not like the deployable MGs in the UnitedOffensive expansion pack (for those of you that have played it on the PC), where the mapper has to assign spots for mounting. In HoBv4 you can deploy ANYWHERE which is the correct height when standing or crouched. And, you can always deploy when prone. This is truly an amazing feature that many people said could not be done.

To give you a little preview of what HoBv4 looks like, we have put together a 4 minute teaser video! I am very proud of this video, and we all put a lot of effort into it. I hope you take the time to check it out!

We need more Mac users playing Heat of Battle!

Please download the video, and check out the other media and info at:

Yes it is.

I just started out as a player, and liked it so much I ended up on the support team!

I forgot to mention that the video is in DivX, so if you get a message from QuickTime saying "You may experience problems playing this video," you need to install DivX.
