Halo zoom works!!! yay! The game also seemed to just overall be a little more responsive. Any other reports?

it might just be me, but I no longer have choppy loading with new terrain in WoW... I was able to turn far clip all the way up without a performance hit (compared to performance before the update)

Yes, and the new drivers fixing the bug was the point.

Anyone try Homeworld 2? Hopefully the update fixed some problems with the Nvidia drivers. When I get a chance I will download the demo again. If someone already tried it let us know.

Thread in the powerbook forum said it fixed HW2 for his 12" PB.

Darn NVida drivers. They are the bane of my 12in Powerbook.

I don't know what particular improvement in 10.3.6 is responsible, but World of Warcraft is now playable with much of the eye candy turned up on my 1.2 gHz iBook.
Don't blame me - I voted Democrat

I saw no change in WoW

turning farclip all the way up still is a bit hit to performance, however I see no viewable difference in what farclip does when at 3/4 (as I keep it)

turning it all the way up hurts..I run it at 1650x1050 evrything maxed (except farclip)

In 10.3.6 Command & Conquer: Generals renders the explosion and zoom effects during the level intro movies at only a fraction the speed of 10.3.5

Configuration used:

PowerBook 17" 1.5GHz/1Gb/80Gb54krpm/Radeon 9700M 128Mb

Downloaded the HW2 demo. It now plays great on my iMac G5 1.8GHz with most options turned all the way up. I own the original Homeworld for the PC and it looks like HW2 is going to be just as good.
