White ground on C&C Generals

I've just got a copy of Command & Conquer Generals for my new iMac G5 and the ground on all the maps appears to be white, I know this isnt normal because I had Generals on my PC aswell.
Anyone know of a possable fix?

what I would do (in order):

1- Install the latest drivers for the nVidia card on the iMac.
2- Install the latest patch for C&C: Generals.
3- Reinstall Generals and apply latest patch.
4- Write to Aspyr.

and that means update to 10.3.6

Imac Core Duo 1.83/1.5 GB/20 inch cinema, ibook G4 1 ghz
