Hi everyone!
I am pleased to announce the release of Heat of Battle v4 for the Mac!
Heat of Battle is a teamplay oriented total conversion mod for Call of Duty.
I hope you all enjoy!
Heat of Battle v4 (Full Install) plus Map Packs
I have also made a ZIP file of all the current community map packs for Linux users, or Mac users that may already have HoBv4 somehow.
(NOTE: You do not need to download this if you are downloading the HoBv4 Mac Full Install.)

For those of you who missed it the first time around, you can download a HoBv4 promo trailer here:

Actually, I noticed that.... I think it's cause it's a SITX. The countdown timer goes to 5 secs way too soon... the file is still uncompressing though. Just let it keep running... it took a good 20-30 mins or so to unstuff on my iMac.

Tried it yesterday - sweet!
Nice maps, nice guns (deployable BAR).

Got it to work it's amazing. I love the deployable BAR. The SVT and G43 seem a little um crappy. The other guns they added are amazing though. I hope they add a deployable mg43, dp, and bren.

The kickback animation for the semi autos is a little hosed, but it's merely a visual thing. Use them for awhile and you'll get used to it.
Also, the SVT has a bayonet you can add by pressing M.
They have plans to add more deployable weapons, but that's about all I know about that.
Glad you guys are liking it!
What did you think of the installer package? Pretty nice looking, eh?!
