Also from Cornerstone TSP Games, DX-Ball is a Breakout™-like brick-breaking game that is also surprisingly addictive. It was based on Megaball (see also MegaBall for Amiga and Amiga Emulators) (by Ed and Al Mackey for the Commodore Amiga platform), based on Arkanoid™ (by TAITO®), originally based on Breakout™ (by Atari).

The gameplay is very smooth, and feels just like a console arcade game. It is reminiscent of Arkanoid™, and can be extremely fun to play.

DX Ball is great! I like the non-square bricks, and the MegaBall-style destruction.

I also highly recommend Colibricks (try MacGameFiles.com?). The bricks are all rectangles, but at different angles--and lots of cool powerups and effects.

And now I'll try Pop-Pop too

DX-Ball is fun, but it's getting OLD.
