Having a problem with MAME and gamepads... the one I have (Logitech) has "buttons" under the joysticks (ie. press the joystick straight INTO the game pad)... I find that when I am moving the joystick, and press incorrectly, MAME is seeing that undefined "button press" (for lack of a better term) and stops seeing the joystick direction that I am trying to move...

is there a device that does not have this "feature", or a way to reconfig MAME to ignore the button press, or do I need to rip into the controller and ship the switches? (I see no reason when I would want them ever for anything).

(using the latest MAME beta (88)) from the forums at emunet(?))

Thanks,
Mike
