MacNN is reporting a release date of June 2005. Nothing on Aspyr's site yet. Hopefully the requirements won't be outrageous. I've been hoping that this title would be released for the Mac.
The system requirements are quite reasonable. I got the following from a MacCentral article .
Preliminary system requirements include Mac OS X v10.3.6 or later, G4/1GHz or faster, 256MB RAM, 2.7GB hard disk space, ATI Radeon 8500 or Nvidia GeForce2 MX or better 3D graphics with at least 64MB VRAM and a DVD drive
Does anyone know how good a game this is on other systems? For instance, how does it compare to Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast? What terrain is there? I hope they don't make too many changes while porting it!
Ok, so the system requirements say one thing, but I'd wait until someone actually tries it before buying it. Just because your computer CAN run it doesn't mean you SHOULD run it. Minimum requirements are often just plain bad to play with.
