I have searched and searched. I've looked through the forums and either I'm missing it or its not here.
Anyhow, I know someone out there has played or attempted to play WoW on a mac mini. Please let me know how it runs. Also, I'd like to know what resolution you ran it at and how much memory your mac mini has.
Please, somone let me know.
Thanks,
onryou
p.s.

crap, as soon as I goto look at my post I see a freaking thread on this subject... Doh!
BTW, I want to hear from people who OWN a mac mini OR who have played wow on a mac mini. I don't want to hear opinions about how it's "should" or "it won't" work. So, please, only folks who have played on a mac mini and more than once.
Thanks again,
onryou

How about some second-hand info? One of my guild mates got one, and here is his impression:
Well, a quick test, running around Darkshire for a couple of minutes, got me 24fps at 1024x768. I have the video options more or less at default settings.
I'll probably be playing on this machine this evening, so should get a better feel for it later on. So far though, it's nice...
It's the 1.42GHz version with 1GB ram.
And another:
Last night I played on my brothers Mac Mini. He has the 1.2Ghz with 512 Ram. The default settings were 1024x768 and the viewing distance all the way down.
I was getting about:
22-30 fps in Desolace
14-30 fps in Thunderbluff
12-18 fps near the bank in Orgimar (About 50 players in the area)
20-34 fps on many of the wind rider routes
So, there you have it, performance for both versions of the Mini.

Thanks for that fast response. Did they seem to think it was playable, I'm playing now on a machine I sware gets 3 frames a second. So, Im sure it's much better than I've got right now.

Definitely playable. Hit control-r to see your framerate.
