Hi all,
Just got my copy of NASCAR 2003 for the Mac, and installed a bunch of mods for the game that allow you to race Nextel Cup, Craftsman Truck, Busch Grand National, and my favorite, Trans-Am! The cars and tracks are great, and the sounds are super. I joined the only (to my knowledge) online Mac racing league. If there are any of you out here that have the game and like to race online, give them a whirl...it's more fun with more drivers.

Check it out. You can't miss me, I'll be the one you blow by.

Ah Tom,
Nice to see you putting the word out for our league. The Red Line Racing League has been around since 2003, this will be our 3rd full season. It's really to bad we don't have the huge NASCAR Racing base that the PC side does but there are many many great drivers in our league and as Tom said it's a boat load of fun.
The RLRL is actually the combination of 2 separate leagues that came on about the same time, we combined forces in order to increase the number of drivers. Most nights you can find some racing at Game Ranger with drivers preparing for that weeks race.
Stop by and check out the league.

So you guys just hold the little joystick/arrow key/steering wheel in the 'left' direction for how many hours at a time?
Sounds exciting.

I see. First of all, as I said in the post, there are all kinds of mods available, and the one I'm really high on is Trans-Am, you know, road racing. Left turns, right turns, up and down hills, technical driving, etc. It's fine if you don't like racing, I'm not a real big oval track fan myself. We're just on here trying to strengthen the Mac racing community, if you don't want to be part of it, that's fine, but leave your retarded comments at home.

I've gotta believe there are vintage T/A cars to download out there, as a matter of fact, I'm 99% sure there are. My brother and I used to campaign a 78 Dekon Monza that ran in the late 70s against the Porsches...what a blast.
