Not a great site but I checked it out occasionally seems to be gone. (This is a link that comes loaded with Safari.) Any idea what happened?

It it probably the BEST Mac Gaming site, IMHO. And, no, I have no idea what happened. I got a link saying that "this domain has expired, click here to register."

It's very strange, indeed. It's a very active site with active gaming discussion boards. They often featured the very first previews or reviews of the latest Mac games and interviews with developers like Aspyr.

I checked the WhoIs database for that domain and the domain expired yesterday, February 13th. Whether that was intentional or accidental, I don't know. I've sent an e-mail to the "administrative contact" for that domain asking what's up.

Works fine here, with news updated today.

A Whois lookup says the domain name registration was created 13-FEB-99 and updated 14-FEB-05, so maybe they forgot to renew the registation until today.

Sounds like the DNS record expired. At this point those who are still having problems accessing the site may need to wait until their DNS servers get updated...

I'm seeing a flash of a "homepage.mac.com" address in the status bar as the site loads now... wonder if they are changing hosting companies?

Tuncer forgot to renew the site domain name yesterday but did so today.. So for now, some people can access it while others can't. It should all clear up in a day or two. Those of you who can visit the site can click the link above.
