Since there aren't to many great FPS games out there for Macs thought I'd post the following:

Are you ready for some action?
Welcome to the future. The future is not what you think it is. The future is inhospitable to humans and their weak and frail human bodies. The battle for supremacy in the war-torn Earth of 2155 is fought between the most lethal war machines ever to engage in combat. History will remember this era as "The Turning Point". After 150 years of uneasy peace, the fragile stalemate was ripped apart and the Earth was once again plunged into a war that will decide the future of "No Man's Land", formerly known as "North America". Lore Invasion is an indie FPS game developed by Max Gaming Technologies and will be released this Friday (March 18th, 2005). The predecessor of DH: Lore Invasion is Dark Horizons Lore 1.12 and is a solid FPS game, but it pales to what you will see in the new release. Game play is fierce, nonstop, and the graphics are brilliant. It has a multiplayer internet-based mode and a single player mode where you battle against an AI and bots that will fight with and against you. The new lighting, graphics and sound cues that have been incorporated into Lore Invasion completely immerse you into the game as the pilot of a remotely operated mechanized vehicle. Maybe best of all is the team-based play that occurs within the two Factions (Federated States and Eastern Confederate) that are fighting to capture critical sectors that make up the new and shattered world of the lore universe. Lore is also set in a persistent universe that tracks Faction, squad and your own stats. On March 18th you can download a Mac demo at http://www.darkhorizons-lore.com/.

If you want to see a glimpse of the action, check out this movie made by the cleversheep (esd) (just remember to turn up the volume and hold on tight).
