I found out from appleerrorcodes.com that a type 3 error indicates "The computer has a specific vocabulary of machine language instructions it can understand. If a computer tries to execute an instruction that isn't in its vocabulary, you see this error code. It's less likely than error 02, but still very common."
So this is cool and all, but what does it mean? I'm trying to get Red Faction 1.2 to work on a 350MHz G4 running OS 9.0. We tried upgrading to 9.1 but it didn't change a thing. RF works fine in OS X, except that the lack of RAM causes random crashes.
Any ideas?
