Tron 2.0 broken in Tiger

Tron 2.0 is broken.. I have filed bug reports with MacSoft and Apple radar and have not heard anything.
Anybody else have a problem?

MacPlay or MacSoft? MacPlay published Tron 2.0. Can you be more specific about the problem?

Well, that's a shame. It was one of the few games I was thinking of getting. I guess I'll be putting that off for now.

Just after typing in the install key from the cd case, it has a fatal error just after you hit the button.. Yes, maclay.. sorry I said the wrong company. I repaired permissions etc and still broken at the same spot. This is just not cool to avoid the issue.
This is very typical of APple and ADC.. I have been rather disappointed in the ADC experience. I filed several bugs and Apple released a new Tiger build and they were all fixed at one time. Too much is kept secret from the registered developers.

Macplay sent me a unreleased patch. I am testing tonight when I get home.
Way to go MacPlay!! I will be buying more MacPlay titles if this works.

Well, I got the patch from them also. It works great. Hopefully they'll be releasing it soon.

It can be a temporary solution.
Tron 2 manual install
1. Mount TRON_2.0_Install_Disc.dmg, lock it before in any case of corruption.
2. Right Click/ Show Package contents on TRON 2.0 Setup Installer ( TRON2.0 Install Volume)
3. Go to : Volumes/TRON2.0 Install/TRON 2.0 Setup.app/Contents/MacOS/ compressed folder and copy : - Readme.tar.gz
- Game.tar.gz
- Tron.tar.gz
- TronServer.tar.gz
- Sound.tar.gz
where you want in a new folder
4. Unstuff them One bye One by double click, you'll get a file with .tar first then the final unstuffed result.
5. Each .tar.gz will be unstuff in their final location : - TRON 2.0.x folder
- or
- TRON 2.0.x/Data folder
So you'll have few TRON 2.0.x folders, like TRON 2.0.2, TRON 2.0.3…
Move the obtained files/folders to the good path according to the path you saw after the unstuff process
i.e. : TRON 2.0.3/ Data/ sound.rez moved to TRON 2.0/ Data folder
6. Do the same with TRON_2.0_Disc_2.dmg CD, Right Click/ Show Package contents on Installer Data ( TRON2.0 Disk 2 Volume)
7. Open TRON 2.0.
