Ok. I bought a copy of board game trio for myself and a copy for my mother. The scrabble portion installed fine for me on my computer and it plays great. However on my mother's computer it crashes every time after she adds her name as a player.

I'm living in Australia and my mom is in USA so it is hard for me to help her. I looked on the tech support site and found no anwers to her problem.

I have a theory that her old Classic Version of Scrabble's preference's file is screwing up the new OS X game (she had been playing OS 9 version scrabble in classic environment). Could anyone here tell me how to uninstall everything that is with the OS 9 Scrabble? Or if you have any other ideas why her OS X scrabble is crashing let me know.

Thanks!

In OSX, have her do a find for Scrabble. If she has a disc to install, she can trash everything and reinstall. If not, she can try the plist and see if that works.

As far as Classic goes, she can drag the Scrabble folder to the trash though I doubt the Classic preferences are messing up the game in X.

I have had games crash where one account was an admin account (worked fine) and the crashing account was a normal account. Is hers an admin account?
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.
