Hi,
I recently upgraded to Tiger and as people have said on this forum, did a complete wipe install for the best speed. My problem is that I am now trying to install Jedi Academy and the 2nd cd wants to run in classic. This would normally not be a problem because I have the original dvd that came with my powerbook that includes classic support, but when I try to install the support, it tells me to insert the dvd with the label that is on my powerbook restore dvd. It's already in the dvd drive so I do not know what to do. Does anyone have any ideas?

ps. I'm not sure if this should go in os x support or games.

I had the same issue with the original DVD that came with my G5. It's an annoying bug. Anyway, you can still install classic support manually.

1. open Terminal
2. login as super user by typing su (not sure if this is needed to see the hidden files)
3. cd /volumes/name_of_the_DVD_volume
4. You should see a image file or a folder about classic(forgot the exact content and I don't have the DVD with me now)
5 copy the file or folder to somewhere else like desktop.
6. copy the system folder inside the image file or folder to you hard drive.

now the OS should recognize the system folder and you classic support is back.
