Anyone kow if a Mac version wil connect to PC versions for a LAN game??

So far it isn't looking good  I tried several ways on a LAN and it wouldn't go.
I contacted Macsoft by email, see what they reply with.

Heres the response I got
Unfortunately, the PC version of this game uses a proprietary network interface which means we are unable to offer cross-platform multiplayer support. Our currently shipping titles which do offer cross-platform multiplayer support are First to Fight, Halo, Neverwinter Nights (and expansions), and Unreal Tournament 2004.
Oh well still a fun game  Glad they ported it...I guess I can play on Game Ranger when the LAN isn't being played.

Yeah, only problem is like hardly any rise of nation games ever get played on GR for whatever reason. I guess they're all busy playing aliens VS predator games or something like that.
Perhaps that whole intel chip move will allow Mac gamers to finally play against more than 7 other people.
