Hiho,

I just bought a PowerMac (my first Apple computer) and installed BF1942 on it. The first I started the game everything worked fine. But now I have the following problem:

When I connect to a server and the map is loading, it seems that my CinemaDisplay is changing the resolution. After that, the screen still appears black. But BF still runs, my friends can see me joining the game.

I deleted the game and it's settings from the documents folder and reinstalled it, but I still have the same problem.

Btw, it doesn't ask me for my key if I reinstall it, so I think there are some more settings I can't see.

Greets

Are you on Tiger or Panther?

Do a search for the game name and you should find preferences as well. Trash those as well. Unless the game has an uninstaller. If so, use that.

My PowerMac is 2 weeks old -> Tiger.

I'll try to find these files as soon as I'm home since there is no uninstaller.

I just found out that the problem has to do with DC Final. It seems that there is no install package that works with online gaming for os-x :-(

So, just download RTCW ET in the mean time.
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.
