If it runs at 1024 x 768 I'd assume it would look nice, although I've never played on a 12 inch screen.

I have played on my 12" iBook a good few times when on the road... very much acceptable.
Yes, the experience wasn't great, but I managed to raid UBRS a few times, run Sunken Temple etc
All in all, very passable on the iBook, so I am sure it would be better in a 12" Powerbook

I ran WoW back in beta on my 12 inch powerbook 867mhz. I managed fine.
I am currently at 832x624 and doing ok too.
I would rather be at 1280x1024, but it IS doable.
800x600 is the smallest you can go and run wow at.
