I have an imac g4 1 ghz with 768 ram, OSX.3 using an airport extreme base station. Just started playing warcraft III on battlenet. I am able to join games but when I invite a friend (who plays on a pc) to play he can't join. Do I have to change port settings or do something else to be able to invite him to play a game I create. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,

Forward the ports to your computer.

I'm having the opposite problem. My friend and I are trying to play via LAN connection... I can see his games but can't join them. He can join the games I create, however. (I have a Mac he has a PC)

I disabled my firewall and enabled Windows File Sharing- but didn't think of the port forwarding thing. Do you mean forward in the router (shouldn't matter because we're both behind the firewall yes?) or forward in System Preferences?

I mean forward with the router by going to 192.168.1.1( or whatever ip your router has, probably that)
