My friend and I want to play Warcraft III TFT together via a LAN (not battle.net). He is on a PC, I'm on a Powerbook with Tiger. When he goes to create a game, I can see it but when I press "join game" all the buttons are greyed out but I don't join the game. I can press "esc" to cancel the process but I can't ever join his game.
The funny thing is- if I host the game he can see and join it no problem. What's up with that?
Could it be my firewall settings and stuff? I disabled my firewall which didn't help... and port forwarding on the router shouldn't matter cause it's all on the local network anyways?
I can connect to battle.net just fine btw.
Back a while ago my friend and I were able to play no problem. I had OS X Panther back then. Since then I installed Tiger and reinsatlled War3 (clean wipe when I installed Tiger). We both have the latest version 1.18. Could this have anything to do with it?
