Does anyone know of a chance that lucasarts will write SWG for MAC ? If any of you want this to be done go to http://www.petitiononline.com/swg4mac/petition.html. If any of you don't know what it is, it is a massive online multiplayer game, where you live Star Wars, fight, kill, train to be a jedi, live etc...
Any information would be great.

Who gives a rat's ass?
1) SWG sucks.
2) EQ for the Mac was on its own server. The SOE guy told me to my face at MacWorld that it was because the network code wouldn't talk to the Windows-based servers. I think the Blizzard developers would want to laugh at that remark right around.....NOW.
Damn liars.

Why would they bother? As of next year you'll be able to buy an Intel Mac and run the Windows version of SWG.

It would take too long to explain. I've done it countless times on many boards. I'm not doing it again.

AWESOME.
Back on topic - malcoml347: I used to play SWG. Even had 3 accounts. So SOE got plenty of my money. I've only played 3 MMORPGs, Asheron's Call, SWG and WoW. AC was kewl for a while but is outdated. SWG got me and I only lasted as long as I did because of being a Star Wars Fan. Their customer service sucks, I lost sooo many in-game items, and talk about griefers!
No, WoW is very kewl. I don't need doctor/entertainer buffs, food, drinks, uber armor, etc. in order to play. WoW has lag but nothing compared to SWG. Less bugs too as far as I have seen.
Go WoW. Go Horde.

I haven't played SWB on the Mac yet, but plan on getting it. Played it a bunch on the PC. Hope the Mac version is of the same quality if not better.
