This is a lovely big angry rant from a 'dedicated' World of Warcraft player, I played the closed beta - it was awesome, i played the open beta - it was awesome.
When WoW came out i played on the USA Servers - it was awesome.
Anddd then when WoW came out for Europe, i chucked in my rogue, priest and warlock and moved over there, and wow.
I've played a fair amount of online games, and i have NEVER seen such poor technical support, and the stability on the servers is a joke. My guild hasn't been able to do anything for an entire week (Onyxia, kazzak, azu, BWL, MC...)
This forum has a lot of mature WoW players, so i figure the readers here will actually acknowledge what i'm saying rather than just insulting my mother.
It's been a week and the only acknowedgement from blizzard about the server issues is to give all players a full level of rested status (Seriously. Get real blizzard.)
So my advice to all hopeful WoW players? Get the game, play it, love it. Become addicted, but whatever you do - Play on USA servers.
My advice to Blizzard? Sort the european servers out, sort your GMs out, enforce the rules you so strictly talk about. Oh, and let me transfer my characters to USA servers (you did promise this 6 months ago...)
Sure it was a poor rant, with bad spelling, but if just one blizzard employee reads this, it'll have been worthwhile.

Dunno about your server but on Kor'gall (EU) my lvl 60 friends do quite fine, MC, Onyxia, etc every other day. I'm starting a new char so I'm not up there but haven't found a problem in weeks, except a few lag spikes here and there (Lagforge and the like).
I'm a happy EU customer.

maybe i cant speak to all realms, but my realm (Warsong) has had persistant issues, which have never been resolved, and no chance of a transfer :'(

Here in New Zealand we only have the option of the US servers, I think, and I haven't seen stability issues or such as you suggest, but maybe this would actually be one argument against them getting servers for AUS/NZ!
Anyway,
So my advice to all hopeful WoW players? Get the game, play it, love it. Become addicted, but whatever you do - Play on USA servers.
