I have an i.MAC. and want to over clock it for extra gaming performance.

My friend's PC has lots of overclocking and it runs very fast...

And will this let me play Half Life 2 on my mac?

You can't play HL2 on the Mac because it's not out for the Mac, and will most likely never come out for the Mac.

As for overclocking, if you know what you are doing, you wouldn't have to ask the question. If you have to ask the question, you don't know what you are doing and I wouldn't suggest you go overclocking your Mac or you'll most likely break it.

Overclocking is for Windows users who think they know what they are doing.

My PC is overclocked. If I overclock it much higher it starts to become unstable. Overclock it a few more notches and it stops booting. By not booting I don't mean a nice Windows isn't starting thing, I mean the machine won't even completely turn on thing.
