aspyr lists a system requirement of 233mhz G3 or faster and 64mb of ram or higher and I have 266mhz with plenty of ram for this.

think it could be doneable (at reasonable game speed too)?

I could figure a cpu upgrade to 400mhz if that could possible help, but if not its ok as I'll just leave The Sim to the desktop pc alone.

I used to play the Sims on a 333mHz PC desktop with only 96 megs of RAM. It was playable, but a bit on the choppy side. It's definitely one of the better games that will actually run on yor Wallstreet... just let it be known that you will not have stellar performance. Turn off most of the graphical hoo-hahs and you'll be fine.
