I really wanted to know how fast WoW ran on the new MBP, because although the hardware specs are similar to those of the new iMac, in my experience laptops run extremely differently than desktops, even with similar specs. Thanks!

Read the threads in the MBP forum... the short of it is, it runs great on the X1600.

I actually have been reading the threads in the MBP forums, and unless I missed something there is only one thread about running games and it does not directly address the frame rate of the MBP on WoW, only on the new iMac.

I am still waiting on my new Macbook, but I use my current Powerbook to play WOW and all runs great. With the new machine and the Universal binary, it will only be better.

On my G4 1.25, I have levelled two characters to 60, and hit rank 11 in PVP. I have 1gb of ram which makes it run smoothly. Can wait to run it on my new Macbook.
