I've had this problem with AOE 2 and SW:GB. Even though they are both the same engine, I believe it might be a hardware or settings issue. Mods: I've been told it is okay to post here since it might not be directly game related. Questions here usually get answered faster than in the games forum, but if you feel the need to move there I understand.

On to the problem:

At the start up screen (where you pick single player, multi etc) it appears as if the screen is off center. Part of the left is cut off and there is a gap on the right. Adjusting the monitor doesn't do anything. Same thing at the screen for setting up gameplay conditions. Once the game starts, it's fine. AOE 2 and SW:GB are the only two with this problem. I'm running the game in the 1024 x 768 resolution. Warcraft 3 does not have this problem.

I thought it could be the video card, but it happens on the new one along with the old one. I also upgraded from 10.2.8 to 10.4.5 and it's still there. The monitor can support some very high resolutions with 85hz as the highest refresh. So I am kind of stumped.

Do I need to give a better description of the problem?
