I just installed OS X update 10.4.6 and my Civ 3 Complete now seems to be broken; specifically, the text is jumbled on the screen where you select nationality and the game crashes if you choose anyway and try to start the game.
I have trashed my Civ 3 folder and re-installed from my original disk. Same thing.
Is it 10.4.6? Has anyone else had similar experience?
Thanks for your help.

I have Civ 3 (GotY, not Complete) with the 1.21g patch, and it works fine under 10.4.6 - just tested it out on my 1.5 G4 mini.

It seems to be working fine for me on a G5 with a Radeon 9600. What setup are you running under? Edit: there's also an active Mac forum on civfanatics.com with a bunch of other C3C mac players. You might want to post there and see if you get any bites, although I haven't seen any similar reports from those guys yet.

Thanks for the answers. Sounds like it is not the update, but I will certainly check the other site to see if anyone there has had similar issues.
Thanks again for your time and help.

I've been running Civ III w/10.4.6, with no problems, on a Alum PB.
