I have a blue and white G3 running OS X.3.4. Tonight, I installed The Sims 'party pack', which has the Sims and all the expansion packs up to and including 'Hot Date' on a single DVD. I had no problems installing the game or going into it. I created a new family, bought a house, and started to renovate it. Everything was fine until I used the 'cmd-shift' option to remove all the wall coverings in a room. The game would simply lock, almost as though I had a stuck key on my keyboard. I couldn't cmd-P out of there and my only option was to force a reboot of my whole system. This happened twice. I haven't tried again. :-s
Does anyone know if this was a common problem and if there's a simple solution? Since the game is older, I did try to do some research, but I'm stuck on 28800 bps dial up and my connection is slower than molasses in January tonight. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Arevn
