ati rage 128 16mb
512 mb
plenty of drive space, about 400 gb
macosx.4.6

the game i want to play is Rainbow Six Raven Shield. I had this problem before with other games on other computers, why is this and how can I solve it?

in case you didn't notice because of the stunning graphics, all the words are squares, even the cursor is a big square. when gaming, everything is blackandwhite polygons

The game requires at least a 32MB video card. Yours is only 16MB. Time to upgrade

You have a sweet system that is more than enough to play the game except for that.
