I just bought a MacBook, and I was trying to install Warcraft III, but the install gets an error and stops (usually stops in the same spot, in the middle of installing multiplayer maps). So I tried installing it on my PC, and it worked fine.
So my question is if this has happened to anyone else, or if anyone has a way to fix it.
I was thinking of just transferring the data from my PC to the MacBook with a ethernet cable, but I wasn't sure if this would work. Thanks.

It might work to transfer... or you could put Windows XP on the MacBook using Bootcamp...

Warcract III is not "universal", unfortunately. That is to say, it doesn't run natively on Intel based Macs. I tried it on my Macbook Pro and did not find the performance to be good at all.

As far as your specific problem, I have no idea, sorry. :-p
