i'm looking at buying tony hawk pro skater 4 for my 1.83ghz 1gig laptop.

Will it run smoothly?

If you have a PowerPC laptop, definitely. Heck, even if you have an Intel laptop, depending on your configuration, the game could still run smoothly.

The specs are pretty low:

Mac OS X version 10.1.2 or higher
733MHz PowerPC G4 processor or higher (Power Mac G4, iMac G4, eMac, or PowerBook G4)
256MB of RAM
32MB video card (minimum of ATI Radeon or NVIDIA GeForce 2 series card)
700MB of hard drive space
 Certified AppleCare Technician

so you don't think the integrated graphics and rosetta should hinder the performance?

If you had a better video card it would run fine, but I don't know, that's cutting it close. You can definitely try it. It should be playable at least, but it might run really well too.
