Hi, I have a 2.16ghz MBP with 1 gig o ram. I have installed Warcraft III but EVERY time I attempt to play, the game crashes. I have read online of people playing III fine on their Mactels, and have even read of ways to fix it by removing the LiveType.component from the Quicktime folder. I do not have that component, therefore that fix doesn't work. Anyone have any suggestions?

Have you installed the patch?

Yup, I patched it with 1.20e and still nothing. The app launches, changes screen to black, then returns to the finder with the app subsequently quitting. Is that not the newest patch maybe?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling. Then, instead of download an update from Blizzard or Apple, launch the game normally and click to play in Battlenet... it'll automatically download the latest patch for the game and patch it for you. Very convenient

UntoWhichIWasAssuming,
If the game doesn't launch there's not a lot of things that could be wrong. The most logical culprit would be a corrupted/faulty installation. Apart from that, my second guess would be any OS X graphical hacks running.
