No one gave information in the other topic so I thought I would post my another one before I do the whole bootcamp WINXP thing.

Now I know the MB isn't a gaming machine, but there are far worse laptops to attempt to game on.

According to the specs listed, I think I should be able to run the game with little or no problems. But I'm wondering if anyone has hands on experience with the game on the base model MB, with a gig of ram.

Anyone?

I recently acquired a MacBook Pro and installed it.

Although I cannot say how well it runs on a MacBook, I suggest giving it a try since it runs flawlessly on mine (2.16 proc, 1gb RAM, 256mb vid card).

How far are you into the game? The reason I ask this is because if you participate in such events as Dynamis or HNM camping (Fafnir/Nidhogg or King Behemoth), the concentration of players in such a small area will most likely lag you. Other than that, I do not foresee your progress to be a problem.

Install the game and try it out. I was amazed by the results on this machine.

From looking at the requirements, it seems like it would run. Probably not awesome, but well. I mean, it runs on 800Mhz P3s and video cards with 32MB or RAM.

Although the game runs fine for me, I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem I have...

I disconnect very frequently, and randomly. Also, while disconnecting, I have the ability to see others' dialogue in the chat box yet I cannot respond and I have a red ball above my head for at least a minute before I actually "lose" my connection. It is really annoying, and I am hoping that I can fix it soon.
