I would say Mac version...it's been patched up and Warlords will be out soon, so I would think it would be more convenient to run it in OS X. This advice is especially sound if you have a good 3D card in your iMac, as the Mac version is more resource-intensive than the PC version.

The apple site doesn't have my iMac anymore so I'm not sure if the intel core2duo is using the same video card (ATI Radeon X1600 graphics with 128MB GDDR3 memory). If not, all I can tell you is I have the basic one, I guess I can probably find out when I'm home.

With that Mac, you can run it fine in either Mac OS X or Windows, but of course it is more convenient to have it in your main OS.

The Mac version is great, and the expansion is almost here already.

I'd say, support the small Mac developers by purchasing the port and enjoy it on your main OS.

No problems with the Mac version whatsoever here. Granted I couldn't run the 18 civ, ginormous earth scenario very well on my G5 iMac, but it was smooth as butter on the Mac Pro
