I got the Mac version of the UT2K4 and it's behaving strangely. It fails to play some sounds and draw effects. This is on a 2.0 Mac Pro with a x1900XT. When the scene is busier, it just doesn't play all the sounds and sometimes doesn't draw things either (shock blasts mostly, I know I detonated the ball because I killed two but I didn't see the blast at all). The game is smooth as butter, no frames dropped at all. I have Windows on this machine and UT2K4 behaves just fine (I run it at a higher resolution in Windows, I have yet to figure out where the UT2004.ini is on the Mac to set the resolution to 2560x1600). Anyone else experience this? I patched it up to the latest universal binary.

It's in the Unreal Tournament 2004 folder in the Application Support Folder. The Application Support folder is in one of the Library folders, can't remember which. I just ended up adding the Application Support Folder to my dock, it's easier to find.
edit: The Application Support Folder is in my Users/ username/ Folder

Do you have the Universal Binary of UT2004 or are you playing in Rosetta?

It's universal. I found some references to broken OpenAL but all that seems to be a year or two ago.
