I recently purchased Railroad Tycoon 3 (a bit late to the party, I know) and I've run into a terrible bug with the electrified track. Simply put, electrifying track does not always electrify it and trains will find themselves stranded with no way of moving if you replace their engines with electric models.

Methodically removing and re-laying track and rebuilding tunnels works only on short spans. A long tunnel means I've got to stick with diesel.

Is there a fix, workaround or way of minimizing this? It's driving me absolutely crazy.
