hey all i baught my mac today and am installing wow now this is my first mac.
i got the 1300 macbook gig of ram 2 ghz and 80 gb hd i was wondering if anyone has any experience on this machine running wow. also on my pc when i had to look something up and keep the game running i would hit the windows key.. and i was wondering what the mac alternative is to the windows key. also i know that pc add ons run on the mac systems and i went into the "world of warcraft folder" and clicked on interface, inside the interface menu is usally where the addon folder is located so i made one has anyone else done this?

ty

p.s. im still updating patches so that may or may not have a affect on the add on folder.

1. I don't have any experience running WoW on a MacBook, but because it has int(d)egraded graphics it's not going to perform very well at all, especially on OS X.

2. WoW add-ons work and install exactly the same way on the Mac.

Hit apple-M to make the game run in a window. You can then hide the window or leave it running in the background or whatever. (This works in all Blizzard games for the Mac, by the way.)

Yeah, that's where they go on the Mac too. It works just the same.

grats on the new machine. I use my Macbook to play WOW all the time. I dusted off my rank 13 priest after the new patch and am enjoying the game again. Althought its been discussed over and over...the Macbook runs the game very well. I am in the 20-25 fps in the laggiest of areas.
