Hi,
Was wondering if anyone has got Wolf Enemy Territory to run on a G3 iMac? Got it loaded and start it up, goes past the orange/yellow screen and the music starts but then just a blank screen. I presume the graphics card (ATI Rage 128Pro with 8Mb VRAM) is inadequate.

It should run, just not very well.

That should run like crap. It didn't even run well on my dual 1.33ghz G4 with 1.5 gigs of ram and 9800 Pro.

Yeah, I'll second that. I could get it to run on a 400Ghz G3 B&W with the Rage but it was like 10 seconds per frame. The least powerful machine I could actually play on was a 1Ghz G4 powerbook. 1G ram, IIRC, but I can't remember the video card. This was with everything turned down in the GUI settings and the additional speed tweaks typed into the ~ console.

Thanks guys. Yeah, it was a long shot, but hey, I got the G3 for nix. Now I have got hold of a 1GHz eMac with 512Mb RAM with 32VRAM Radeon 9200. Works OK on it.
