Hi,

I'm looking for gameplay experiences of Command and Conquer Generals (hopefully Zero Hour) Universal Binary on a MacBook.

Anyone ?
Thx

It will play fine. My iBook G4 1.2 GHz, 512 RAM, Radeon 9200, plays it on the lowest of settings fairly well, except that I don't have a mouse wheel so its a bit hard to zoom in and turn the screen and everything. I'd suggest getting one. But with speed, you're more than fine.

C&C General runs smoothly on my CD MBP, most settings are on medium-high.

MBP and iBook have graphics cards, how well is an intel graphics MacBook going to handle the game?

Minimum specs for the game at aspyr.com - aspyr link

System Requirements:

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later
CPU Processor: PowerPC G4 or later
CPU Speed: 1GHz or faster
Memory: 256 MB or higher
Hard Disk Space: 2.8GB free disk space
Video Card (ATI): Radeon 7500 or better
Video Card (NVidia): GeForce2 MX or better
Video Memory (VRam): 32 MB or higher
Media Required: DVD Drive

CPU and RAM specs are going to be fine, how does a 7500 or Geforce2 compare with Intel onboard graphics? (partly asking because I'm thinking of a Macbook myself).

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.
