Just bought a Dell 30" for a great price off eBay. Hope it turns out as good as I hope it does.

I am wondering what sort of frame rates people are getting playing WoW at 2560x1600 on a 30" display.

My machine is :

- Quad G5 2.5 GHz
- 7800 GT
- 6.5 GB RAM

I'm currently running a 20" display at 1600x1200 and getting between 30 and 60 FPS with all settings on their highest. I have just read on the Blizzard website that I should turn the terrain distance to medium and turn off full screen glow.

Considering that I will be pushing over twice the number of pixels between the 20" and the 30", should I expect my framerates to half?

Got my Dell 3007 WFP-HC. Got messed around by the guy on eBay so bought a new one.

Am getting between 25 and 60 FPS (averaging around 40-50) at 2560x1600 with following settings.

Terrain distance - middle setting
24 bit , 1x sampling
Ansiotropic filtering - one third setting
Full screen slog effect - off
Vertical sync - off

Everything else on or full setting.

Pretty happy with that to be honest!

Yeah, I am very impressed.

The only problem is that I would like to make the user interface smaller but it is already on its smallest setting (.62 i think).

This means my toolbars and bags take up the same amount of room as before, everything is just bigger. Need to see if there are any mods for going smaller.
