And can it play any other game on www.mmosite.com
If Mac doesnt support these games why doesnt it?? is there any way to make it support them, like buy a item to install in mac or something.

The thing is I am getting a new computer in a day or 2,dunno if MAC will support these,I was supose to get AlienWare but my parents said NOOO*I'm 15 BTW*

Its up to the developers if they want to make games for Mac, nothing to do with Mac's supporting MMO's. There are plenty of MMO's on Macs, and you can play Windows MMO's on an Apple machine if your machine can run Bootcamp or Parallels. If you think Mac doesn't support MMO's and your getting ripped off, stick with your Vista machine.

Those games are for Windows only...so getting a Windows based PC with a decent graphics card should be good enough.

If you got a recent Mac, it can run Windows, and thus those games.

Better yet, you should get a console. You have less of a chance destroying it.

Yeah, you can run any Windows program on a Mac because you can run Windows on a Mac. So yes, you can run all those on a Mac. Just pick up a copy of Windows for your Mac.

But then again... the Mac already has real MMO's. World of Warcraft has been on the platform for a long while. And EVE Online is coming... soonish? Sometime. There are others like Vendetta Online, Second Life, etc...

Well it supports MMO's, but maybe not the particular ones you wanna play. If not, just get Bootcamp or something else.

Vista isnt a kind of a computer, its an operating system. HP makes computers. No, you should not get them, but then I wouldnt buy you a computer just to play some games on either.

Just FYI, it's "Mac", not "MAC" (Mac is not an acronym), and no apostrophe is needed to make things plural, so it should be MMOs, PCs, etc.

Thank you besson3c, we need to discourage improper use of the apostrophe.

Wait,so what kind of Mac should I buy that will run windows MMO's,and if I buy it I can play them right away,or do I have to buy something for it?????
I heard these Parallels thingys that lets you run Mac through windows can help, but they are like 80$-.-
I might end up getting a Dell, but still wondering if Mac can play these in some way.

PS*Whats the difference between Windows and Mac,anyone mind telling me,does Mac have more features or something*

I would recommend an iMac, that should play most of the games you want. Mac Pro would be kind of expensive.

Mostly the main difference is the OS, but it's also the style. It really depends on what's important to you when it comes to computers. Some people don't care, they'll take any old box; some people really like the designs that Apple comes out with.

As for the OS, it's probably mostly a personal preference. However, on the technical side, Macs are nice because (at least, for the past 7 years) there are no viruses or spyware. The OS seems more refined, simpler to use (certainly, simpler to troubleshoot), but just as powerful as you want it to be. You don't have to worry about drivers, DLLs, VXDs, etc.

I think the part that makes OS X so much better than Windows is, not that it can do pretty much everything Windows can do (including running Windows itself), but does everything in a simpler, more logical way. Tasks I take for granted on OS X are difficult, time consuming, and sometimes really expensive on Windows; stuff like creating disk images that don't need extra software, imaging/ghosting a computer, backing up a computer (why in hell does Windows Backup need f*cking floppy disks?!!!), etc.

In short, you should just try it out and see if you like it. Maybe check out an Apple store (if you're embarrassed, you can pretend you're buying an iPod like all the other PC users mulling a switch to a Mac. )

Yeah I know you can run windows through Mac now,but then would probobly get key logger errors since its Mac,and the mouse dont have a right click button so it cant trigger some stuff,I guess I'll get a Dell or HP computer right now, kinda dont need a Mac at my age, would be more useful to have one when I go to colledge.

and one more think, whats the difference between Windows XP Professional, and Windows XP Home Edition??

I'm not sure what you mean by key logger errors. Running Windows on a Mac is no different than running Windows on a PC; it's actually better since you can run both OS X and Windows simultaneously if you wanted to. The Mac, by the way, has a 4 button mouse plus scroll ball (it scrolls all directions, not just up and down), but Apple made it look like a 1 button mouse. However, you're perfectly welcome to use absolutely any mouse (or keyboard) you want on the computer. If you already have a really nice mouse you'd like to use, just plug it in.

The difference between XP Home and XP Pro is how the OS communicates with a server. However, if you're buying it at an OEM price from a place like Newegg.com, just go with Pro.

All Macs have a right mouse button. The laptops have a hidden second mouse button, you put two fingers on your trackpad and you click. If you're really concerned about the mouse, any PC USB mouse will work with a Mac.

Running Windows on a Mac is exactly the same as running it on a PC. No difference. The inside of a Mac is all Intel, same as a PC.

I noticed one of those games lets you get more items if you turn the ad's on, wondering if one of those deals with key loggers?
