Ok so i'm ordering a Mac Pro with the fallowing specs:

500GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s
One 16x SuperDrive
Two 2.66GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon
Mac OS X - U.S. English
4GB (4 x 1GB)
250GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s
ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB (2 x dual-link DVI)

I was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark figure on the kind of frame rates i'll be getting in Counter-Strike: Source USING CROSSOVER, if possible. Thanks

Also, does the game run in full screen in CrossOver? If not, that's a huge down side for me.

I haven't tried Crossover with Source games in a while. That said, you frame rate is likely to be so high I wouldn't even worry about it. There isn't really a speed hit associate with Crossover. If in the next few days I get a chance to install Source I'll let you know exactly what kind of framerates you can expect.

Thanks goMac ... I'm really hoping NOT to have to use bootcamp because I don't want to have to restart every time I feel like playing cs.
