Anyone ever used one? always fancied having a go with one but it seems a big buy for something i dont really need and might not like, for those of you who dont know what one is:

Belkin : Nostromo™ SpeedPad n52

only runs on windows but that doesnt bother me as i do all of my gaming on windows, was just about to say, wonder if i could set up a profile to use it in CS3 to sellect tools from the pallet but with no OS X support i cant dam that would of been awesome.

Matt

Edit: Heres a pic of one in action

I have used mine for about 2 years. Works fine in OSX, and comes with software to setup for any game or application. Full customizing for just about any key combo.

I've had one for a couple years too, and I love it. I find it much more comfortable for movement in pretty much every game I've ever tried. You should get one if you game on the PC at all.

I haven't used in Photoshop, because I have a Wacom tablet. I just use the N52 for just gaming. Works great on both Windows and MacOS X. Should work well for Photoshop or any application, as you can configure it any way you wish for any application on the OS. The software is fully customizable.

The setup is basically like this...

(This is a windows screenshot, but the Mac version is exactly the same)

You can assign up to 3 shifts so you can triple the amount of buttons pretty much. I have played tons of FPS games on it. Doom, Unreal T, Battlefield 2, Call of Duty, Halo, etc. Works well for RPGs and RTS games, too. Starcraft, Diablo, Neverwinter Nights all work great for me as well. I got mine for $20 on a special at CompUSA a while back.
