Just played through the Stranglehold demo... wow.
I wasn't really expecting much of a game other than good graphics, but it was incredibly fun, actually one of the most intense games i've ever played, definitely... It's like max payne on crack, you never get a break.
Precision aim is AWESOME, stand-offs are great, I can't wait to see what the other 'tequila bombs' are.
Only complaints: voice acting is very average for the most part (it IS based on a John Woo action movie, right?), but in an odd way it kind of works. Framerate is dodgy outside, but once you've been playing for a few mins you don't notice it (except that when you go inside it gets silky smooth again, which makes it stand out)
In short? Based on the demo, it's definitely gona be GOOD, but to be 'great' I reckon they need to clean the framerate up a bit. It's not terrible, but I'm a framerate nazi, so it has to be said. It looks like your character is a kickass gunfighter who has a reputation among his enemies as being impossible to kill, which can't NOT be fun.
And, definitely worth a mention, the character models... far out. Beautiful.

I found it to be a really cool game and had a blast with the demo. Unfortunately it might just be a rental for me.

I agree, I like how easy it is to absolutely dominate everyone all while making it looks really sweet.

I think i'll have to finish it as a rental as well, given the ridiculous holiday lineup we have ahead of us...
Bioshock / Eternal Sonata / Halo 3 / COD4 / Mass Effect all seem to be shaping up as AAA titles, which is sure to be heavy on the wallet!

No kidding! Also, I dunno why but for some reason when I played the demo I got this feeling it was going to be a somewhat short game.
