What was the first graphics card you bought specifically for gaming?

Wow. That card was kinda old already by the time Unreal came out. I used that card with DOS Quake when the first GLIDE patch came out. Anyone remember POD Racer that came with some first Voodoo add on cards?

Well my iMac DV had an 8MB Rage 128 Pro. I played games with that. I've never bought a graphics card otherwise.

I bought the coveted 8 meg Microconversion's GAMEWIZARD, it was basically a special voodoo2 built specifically for the original iMac. It rocked. It played Quake3 at over 60fps, and played UT99 wonderfully, as long as the map wasn't super insane.

My first card was a Riva 128, later on coupled with one of the legendary Diamond 3D Voodoo2 (8 MB if i remember correctly).
Good times.
Come to think about it, I still have the Riva card somewhere in a drawer around here.
