I have a Netgear RP614 Router and it seems that almost every time I enter an instance in a raid group I get disconnected at random. It will either be the first 10 minutes inside or even an hour later. This situation has only just started happening within the last couple months. I've turned down all the video setting in WoW thinking it might be too much for my pc to handle but its no good.
I'm really not sure if its the router or my computer because my drivers are all up to date.

Does your router have the latest firmware?

^ Yeah first try newest firmware. Second, throw out your router.
Well that's what I did, I had a 614 and it would constantly die on me whenever my connection was under even a moderate load. It only got worse with time. So perhaps that's what is happening to you as well.

I'd try one more step before throwing out the router: connect the gaming pc directly to the cable/dsl modem to see if the drop outs occur. If so, it's your connection and/or modem and not the router, but if everything is working as it should, you know the router is the culprit.

My cable modem didn't like Ironforge. I had to swap it out.

Netgear is sh*t. We had one for our office, and it constantly went down under any sort of load, forcing us to reset it 2-3 times daily. We replaced it with an AirPort extreme, and added two APeX, one for WDS, the second for the stereo

Routers are a touch issue. Even my wireless at the house acts up a lot. Firmware is the key if you want to keep your current device. With out up to date software it is futile.

Unless that 'up-to-date' firmware introduces a connection bug, like the last time I updated my old Linksys router. Was also the last time I used a Linksys product.
So while staying up-to-date is usually a good idea, be aware that it won't fix everything 100% of the time. WIth trouble-shooting, check all the possible points of failure so you can be certain your router is the one causing the problem.
